The Rose That Grew from Concrete
really liked it
A soulful, misunderstood legend. I hesitate to give this 5 stars because of his highly simple writing style. Many of his core messages do stick with me, though, and his thoughts are so clearly conveyed and powerful. Thank you, 2pac.
The Emissary
liked it
squeezed this in for june reads in the last 2.5 hours on june 30! this is such a contrasting read; small B-grade moments in life plastered over a bleak, desolate setting. it's like a blend between slice of life and post-apocalyptic.
tagged: asian, dystopian, and historical
I Who Have Never Known Men
really liked it
maybe for once, i'm lowkey grateful for men...
