Expansion of my music taste! ˎˊ˗

❛ Reggaeton ❜

I've experienced several music transitions in my music taste; a lot quite drastic. I went from a major K-pop fan (this automatically includes mandopop and J-pop by association) to RnB, shoegaze, and k-indie, to rap, rage rap (opium), and hip-hop, to slightly more milder alternative and indie songs, and recently Reggaeton.

The seed of interest was planted in my mind throughout and after my trip to Lisbon mid-June. I was trying to make some neat Instagram stories with my friend, and we really wanted to choose Portuguese and Latin music for the background music, but neither of us were personally accustomated with the genre. After browsing on social media for other Portugal and Spanish content, I discovered a song by Cris MJ and Kali Uchis that I enjoyed quite a lot: SI NO ES CONTIGO (remix). From this one starting point, I experimented with listening to more songs on Spotify, including the famous Rauw Alejandro. I also listened to premade Reggaeton Viejo (old school Reggaeton) playlists on Spotify, and went into the "similar artists" category for the artists I found myself liking more. 

Up to today's date, I have 82 songs in my playlist, and my songs are all quite mainstream/big songs (to be fair, they're big for a reason!). I've attached my playlist below.
